Went to AMEO for a friend’s birthday in June already (still dreaming of this) and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve been lucky to enjoy. We had a 6 course dinner with wine pairing. Max and Julian deliver a flawless experience with focus on local, natural ingredients mixed with art. The menu and the art changes very 3 month. The love and passion for food and art were felt in every step of the way. The presentation was experimental and I loved it. The start with the rainbow trout, the amuse-Bouche, beet root tartare, bee wax panacotta with a gel of honey vinegar, to the sour cream ice cream at the very end. For a special occasion AMEO delivers flawlessly. And the best? Menu changes so you can celebrate many future special occasions

Ein kulinarischer Abend voller Herz und Raffinesse – AMEO Zürich Zum Anlass unseres 27. Hochzeitstages haben wir das Restaurant AMEO in Zürich besucht – und hätten uns keinen schöneren Rahmen wünschen können. Bereits beim Eintreten fühlten wir uns wie in einem stilvollen Wohnzimmer: das Lokal ist klein, aber mit so viel Geschmack und Wärme gestaltet, dass man sich augenblicklich heimisch fühlt. Unser Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Tisch im kleinen Familienkreis wurde genau so erfüllt – mit viel Aufmerksamkeit, aber nie aufdringlich. Ein besonderes Lob gebührt dem Service: Unser Gastgeber an diesem Abend war nicht nur überaus zuvorkommend, sondern begleitete uns mit großer Leidenschaft und Fachkenntnis durch das gesamte Menü. Er erzählte uns mit Begeisterung von der Philosophie des Hauses, den Ursprüngen der Gerichte und den liebevoll ausgewählten Weinen. Die Weinbegleitung war eine Offenbarung – harmonisch abgestimmt, abwechslungsreich und von exzellenter Qualität. Kulinarisch war es ein Fest für alle Sinne: Vom kunstvoll angerichteten Amuse-Bouche bis hin zum Dessert war jedes Gericht ein kleines Meisterwerk. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die kreative Komposition von Aromen und Texturen, wie z. B. das zarte Fleischgericht mit frischen grünen Erbsen auf Chicorée, das fluffige Bao mit aromatischem Fleisch – stilvoll serviert in einer Holzhand – oder das Dessert mit einem wunderbar intensiven grünen Eis, das auf der Zunge zerging. Alles war nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern auch visuell ein echtes Erlebnis (siehe Bilder). Für uns war es ein unvergesslicher Abend, voller Geschmack, Eleganz und persönlicher Wärme. Das AMEO ist ein Ort, an dem man nicht einfach nur isst, sondern an dem man Gast ist – mit echter Gastfreundschaft und einem spürbaren Anspruch an höchste Qualität. Fazit: Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert – für besondere Anlässe ebenso wie für alle, die authentische Kulinarik auf höchstem Niveau schätzen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 von 5 Sternen)

Wow! Max and Julien deliver a great experience from the culinary and oenological side. We enjoyed the 6 course with wine pairing for my birthday and I couldn‘t have wished for a better dinner. Additionally, I want to point out the incredibly attentive service. Thank you, and we will be back soon!

Nous sommes allés un peu au hasard à cette adresse car dans le livret " Essen gehn ". Et quelle bonne surprise! Un concept gastro-culture: vous mangez en accord avec la thématique d’un artiste exposant en salle. Très bon service, belle carte des vins, superbe cuisine créative, colorée et avec beaucoup de minutie dans le choix des ingrédients. L’équipe était très sympa (et francophone). Alors certes sur certaines photos vous pourriez croire que les petites portions vous laisseraient le ventre creux… détrompez-vous. Entre les amuse bouche et les petites attentions du chef, vous serez plus que rassasié. Je reviendrai.

We visited the restaurant for my husband’s birthday. From the moment we arrived the ambiance, service and food were all perfection. Each plate had been lovingly and creatively put together. The wine pairing was thoughtful, well chosen and described to us with animation and passion. We have already told our friends about this fantastic restaurant and will definitely be back again!

Wonderful meal, sitting outside in beautiful weather. The art + dishes concept was well executed. The service was excellent. Had a really great time there. Must try!
