Banoo Im Rössli

One of our all-time favourite restaurants with the finest Persian cuisine that’s an explosion of delectable flavour. We especially love the Kashk-e-Bademjan made with puréed aubergine and the Koreshte Gheyme from yellow split peas and potato, served with a delicious rice that has a crispy top. Warm and friendly service and a great location in Rapperswil. Highly recommended for vegetarians as well as vegans. On request the vegetarian ‘meze’ can be ordered without egg, and many of the dishes are naturally vegan too - just ask and the staff are really helpful! We look forward to our next visit!

As Iranian-Americans who seek out Persian food in a dozens of countries across Europe and other regions we travel. Banoo is def up there! Here in June the outside atmosphere is wonderful, with really juicy and flavorful kabob. We got the #50, a platter of chicken koobideh, lamb/beef koobideh, chicken barg, and beef barg. All were amazing. The service were very kind and attentive too. I recommend to others to go try!

Sehr gutes Essen, zu - für die Schweiz - nicht ganz so arg teuren Preisen. Im Freien sitzt man schön, mit Blick auf die historischen Gebäude.

So ein wundervolles familäres Ambiente in diesem Restaurant, was sehr empfehlenswert ist wenn ihr in die Persische Kulinarik und Kultur hineingehen möchtet. Die beiden (Chef und Cheffin) wie auch das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend,freundlich und proffessionell. Wir gehen regelmässig hier Essen. Da es sehr beliebt ist würde ich empfehlen immer im Voraus zu reservieren. I had the pleasure of having lunch at Banoo Im Rossli, and it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant offers authentic Persian cuisine, with each dish bursting with flavor and carefully prepared. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s expected considering you’re in Switzerland, and the quality of food justifies it. One tip: I highly recommend making an advance reservation, as tables tend to get booked quickly. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and flavorful dining experience. I definitely recommend it if you’re in the area and craving some delicious Persian food!

Absolutely delicious food, very friendly service, lovely outside seating sufficiently far from other guests all adds up to a great overall experience. The portions are quite generous, keep that in mind. Not pictured is the very tasty yogurt cucumber salad that was first rate and highly recommended.
