When we booked this trip we did not realize what we were in for at the Burgenstock Resort! With the exception of the fast driving driver service up the winding roads to the resort everything exceeded our expectations from the second we walked in the doors to the lobby. The main lobby is modern yet relaxed in look and feel. The view over Lake Lucerne was jaw dropping! The staff was amazing and friendly. The room and service was clean, fresh, and comfortable. The views from the lake view rooms were just unreal. ||The except is room was fitting for a resort of this caliber as well. It had ample room for various types of workouts and a lot of equipment. These is even a separate room for small classes or individual yoga or step type workouts with and outdoor area that can also be used. ||The restaurants were all amazing. The servers were personable and went out of their way to make each meal an experience, in a good way! ||If you’re considering this resort, spend the extra for the lake view room and you will not regret it!

An amazing resort. Definitely worth the trip. The resort has amazing views, so make sure to book a lake view room. They have 10 restaurants at site, don't miss out on the one named Spices. They also have boat that can take you to Lucerne every 30-60 min.

Pure luxury – an unforgettable stay at Bürgenstock! Bürgenstock is the definition of true luxury. Yes, the price is higher – but every cent is absolutely worth it. The breathtaking location, the panoramic views over Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains, and the impeccable service make this hotel truly exceptional. We stayed in a stunning room with a mountain and lake view – waking up there was a dream. Dinner on both evenings was excellent, and the atmosphere in the restaurants was elegant yet relaxed. On the third evening, we took the funicular and boat down to Lucerne – all included in the room rate – and it added even more charm to our stay. Evenings at the hotel bar were a delight – calm, beautifully designed, and the perfect way to unwind after a day in the mountains. The spa and pools were absolutely perfect. We especially enjoyed the infinity pool in the early morning hours, which was magical. Traveling with kids, we didn’t spend the whole day at the spa, but it was more than enough to feel completely relaxed. The famous Hollywood pool at the top was also spectacular – with views you’ll never forget. We had an unforgettable time and truly felt like we were in a different world. Everything was perfectly thought out, elegant, and peaceful. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had!

Ich durfte kürzlich ein paar Tage im Bürgenstock Hotel verbringen und war rundum begeistert. Gebucht hatte ich ein Heritage Lake View Zimmer im Palace-Flügel – und die Aussicht war schlichtweg atemberaubend. Der Blick auf den Vierwaldstättersee, kombiniert mit der ruhigen Eleganz des historischen Gebäudeteils, war ein echtes Highlight.||Das Zimmer war makellos sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und vermittelte sofort ein Gefühl von Luxus und Wohlbefinden. Auch das Personal verdient ein grosses Lob: durchweg freundlich, professionell und gleichzeitig herzlich – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut.||Kulinarisch wurden wir ebenfalls nicht enttäuscht. In der Lobby-Bar genossen wir ein Tatar, das geschmacklich absolut überzeugte – perfekt abgeschmeckt und wunderschön angerichtet. Am Abend ging es ins Oak Grill, wo wir uns für das dry aged Tomahawk entschieden. Auf den Punkt gebraten, wunderbar aromatisch – ein echtes Genusserlebnis in entspannter Atmosphäre.||Das Gesamtpaket aus Location, Service, Küche und Stil macht den Aufenthalt im Bürgenstock Hotel zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Ich komme definitiv wieder.

This was by far the best hotel experience I’ve had. First, the view. The resort is set atop a mountain overlooking beautiful Lake Lucerne on one side and a green alpine valley on the other. The hotel does a great job leveraging these views with big glass windows and lots of outdoor spaces. When you walk outside, the majority of times you’ll only hear birds chirping and cowbells clanking. it’s incredibly peaceful. The resort staff are friendly, eager to please and all speak perfect English (helpful for my family traveling from the U.S.). There are multiple restaurants serving a variety of cuisines; each one we tried was delicious. My only caution to travelers is to be fully aware of the costs. The region — and the resort — are very expensive but I knew that. For me, it was worth paying so much for lifelong memories with my family. I sincerely hope to be able to visit Bürgenstock again one day in the future. It’s like a dream resort.

The hotel has a beautiful view, but the service is poor. Communication with room service is difficult — you have to ask the reception to call them on your behalf. Unfortunately, cleanliness is also lacking. We stayed at the hotel for 6 days and requested a late checkout for just one hour, until 1 PM, but they completely refused, citing reservations as an excuse, which we believe is not a valid reason. The spa is also not clean.
