Crowne Plaza

Πολύ ωραίο και πολύ καθαρό ξενοδοχείο, με ωραία ζεστά χρώματα. Ανακαινισμένο με όλες τις ανέσεις. Διαθέτει πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Είχα μείνει και όταν είχε άλλη ονομασία παλαιότερα, έμεινα και πάλι. Και τις δύο φορές σε επαγγελματικό ταξείδι. Πολύ κοντά στο αεροδρόμιο, μεγάλυ εξυπηρέτηση οι συγκοινωνίες και το δωρεάν εισιτήριο του ξενοδοχείου. Ιδανικό για επαγγελματικά ταξείδια υψηλών απαιτήσεων. Λίγο υψηλές οι τιμές του στα μπαρ, είναι ίσως το μόνο δύσκολο σημείο του.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights on our way back from the French Alps to the UK. It was a very hot day so the transfer minibus was very welcome. The reception area was cool and spacious where we were checked in by a very welcoming receptionist who recognised us as Platinum Elite members and offered us a room upgrade. The room was large, bright and quiet with a smart bathroom with a wonderful large walk-in shower. The room upgrade entitled us to use the Club lounge which was smart and comfortable and managed by Samantha who came across as genuinely friendly and efficient in a relaxed way even when the room was busy. The continental breakfast available in the lounge was excellent. We had a couple of completely unnecessary issues with the staff in the ground floor bar but these were rectified. We have stayed in a great many IHG hotels all over the world and have never noticed the general manager of the hotel. The Crowne Plaza Geneva is different. It was obvious to us who he was without being told, he was always active around the hotel interacting with guests and staff yet in an unassuming way, accessible and very approachable. Conveniently located near the airport and serviced by a shuttle every 30 minutes, was a good choice for us (family of 4). Geneva old town is just a quick stroll by bus a few steps away from the Hotel. Check in and check out were somehow time consuming and could be improved. We really appreciated the concierge kindness, helpful tips and enjoyed our stay. Overall a nice and relaxing experience.

Stayed here due to a flight cancellation. The staff were fabulous. Emily, Charlotte and their colleagues on the front desk were polite, kind and attentive. The bar staff were so kind and understanding. The room was fabulous and ours was only the basic one. I can’t thank you all enough for your support on such a difficult day. You are all amazing

Checked in at around 12.30pm and both our rooms were available. As a Diamond Elite the hotel upgraded two rooms to King Premiums on the 8th floor and gave us all Lounge Access.||The guy at check in was really nice, he gave me the option of my welcome amenity of which I chose breakfast and he extended it to the other room also. This was one of the best check-in experiences I’ve had 10/10.||I felt that this hotel was really going above and beyond to look after its loyal guests and every interaction with a staff member was pleasant.||I was certainly really impressed at this and it’s this sort of experience that builds loyalty. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or return here for another visit. ||The lounge has just wine and beer between 5-7pm and a few snacks but we appreciated it so we could unwind after the day. There is a nice ambience and it isn’t staffed. There are plenty of soft drinks and always plenty of fruit. ||The room was spacious, immaculate, had a well stocked minibar, place to sit and good air conditioning. Sockets next to the bed, the green was not my favourite colour but the bathroom was aesthetically pleasing. ||Breakfast in the restaurant was tasty, high quality produce and staff who were constantly replenishing and collecting plates and generally being so friendly and looking after you. ||We also got sent our free Geneva travel cards which was just perfect. This is a huge benefit, it’s worth 8 CHF per person per day at least and it meant we could take the number 10 bus to / from the city, it was all very easy and the stops are right next to the hotel.||We didn’t need a late checkout but I don’t suppose it would have been a problem. All in all, the hotel delivered everything perfectly with really pleasant and lovely staff. ||I hope to return again soon.

Excellent luxury hotel in great location, just a short 15 minute walk from the terminal at GVA. I stayed here for two nights in June during a layover between flights which added to the travel experience. My allocated junior suite was very spacious with stunning views of the Alps and aircraft taking off from the airport. The rainfall shower and air conditioning were both easy to use and excellent in making my stay a very comfortable experience. My stay included Geneva city pass which allowed public transportation to downtown Geneva city centre. A bus stop is conveniently located over the road from the hotel. There is also a railway station at the airport terminal and the train ride to the city centre takes only 12 minutes. The staff were very attentive and gave excellent customer service. Breakfast had a good selection of quality foods. The club lounge on the top floor was also spacious offering excellent mountain views. My only criticism is that the food and drink offering during 'happy hour; was =very limited. Alcohol seems to just be a choice of beer and wine; no spirits as with other Crowne Plaza properties I'd definitely stay here again during another GVA layover. Very clean, very comfortable and great service! Recommended!

I deeply appreciate the service in this hotel. The staff are exceptional. Always friendly and they will go out of their way to attend to any need. Yves served me dinner at the restaurant this evening and he was excellent. The breakfast team have been very gracious to us. Great teamwork!
