Eine 10 von 10 in allen Bereichen. Freundliche Bedienung, tolles Ambiente (fast wie Ferien tatsächlich) und die Speisen einfach super lekker. Kompliment an die Betreiber, an die Miarbeiter und vorallem an den Koch. Wir kommen wieder. ❤️
"Liebes Team vom Restaurant Dem, vielen Dank für den wunderbaren anatolischen Brunch! Die Auswahl war reichhaltig und köstlich – von regionalem Honig und hausgemachter Konfitüre über Eierspeisen bis hin zu frischem Ofengemüse und aromatischem Çay. Besonders die liebevolle Zubereitung und die authentische Atmosphäre haben unser Frühstückserlebnis einzigartig gemacht. Weiter so – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"
We ate here more by chance than anything else. However, the DEM restaurant is a great discovery. The cozy terrace makes us forget that we are in Basel and creates a vacation atmosphere. The food tastes very good and is very varied. You quickly realize that everything is fresh, homemade and prepared with love. Last but not least, we received very friendly service and were personally greeted by the host. We will certainly be back and can recommend the DEM restaurant to everyone.
DEM I Anatolian Restaurant & Mezebar in Allschwil offers an authentic Anatolian Turkish dining experience. The restaurant is beautifully furnished without over-decoration, providing a comfortable setting for diners. Great return on value considering it is a restaurant in Switzerland! Overall, it’s a solid choice for those seeking genuine Anatolian cuisine in a welcoming environment.

Essen war ausgezeichnet alles auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Wir hatten die Mezze gemischt für zwei plus Lamacun und wurden beide gut satt. Einziger Optimierungsvorschlag wäre Halloumi und ein Überraschungselement (zB etwas kleines süsses das man nicht erwartet). Freundliche, herzliche Bedienung und durchwegs gelungenes Menü. Wir kommen wieder.
This is hands down the best Anatolian restaurant in Basel, and probably Switzerland. Delightfully tasty homemade food. Staff are welcoming and courteous. There’s a lovely little terrace in the summer as well. Don’t forget to enjoy a fine Turkish tea as well! Will definitely come back.
