A really nice hotel near the centre. Almost half an hour to walk to beautiful Basel . Really cute room not much big especially the bathroom...tight. not great air conditioning but it worked. I appreciate the RITUALS products in the shower and as hand wash and body cream because I am a fan! Top girl concierge really kind who donated us an evening drink: we chose a good beer. Useful garage available on request: 25 ch for the day. Really good price for Basel .

Albergo in ottima posizione. Servitissima dai mezzi. Si può raggiungere il centro anche a piedi dato che dista 2 km. Struttura molto pulita. Personale gentilissimo. Colazione super.

Sehr gutes Hotel in guter Lage. Unweit der Straßenbahnlinie, mit der man schnell in der Stadt ist. Zimmer groß genug für 3 Personen. Parkmöglichkeiten gegen Gebühr in der Tiefgarage. Ebenfalls gegen Gebühr gibt es Ladestationen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück gut und ausgewogen.

We stayed here over Easter and had a wonderful time. The attention to detail is great, a lovely Easter display with an abundance of chocolate Easter eggs at the breakfast table and at reception. |We asked in advance for a gluten free breakfast and Angela and others wonderfully arranged this with gluten free cereal, lactose free milk and gluten free rolls, sliced bread and muffins. Amazing breakfasts thank you! |The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is great - only 5 quick stops by tram to Marktplatz. The hotel provided a free travel card so easy to get around. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay in Dorint hotels in the future. Thank you all.

To Start with the elemental factors that the hotel cannot control do not help. We stayed on a Sunday night in a 3rd floor room facing the street. We could not get the air con working so we opened a window. To start with we didn't mind the street noise. Until a massive argument on the street at 1 or 2 in the morning forced us to shut the window. Then it got hot with the air con still not working dispite trying everything on the controls and googling the thermastat nothing was blowing cold. The matteresses where firm and bouncy. A strange combo but didn't help with the nights sleep for us with the other factors involved. On the plus side the pillows were nice and squishy. But whos stupid design idea was it to put a glass door on the bathroom? Trying to get up for a sneaky night toilet break trying not to wake the wife and blam it eliminates the entire room like a light house. Oh and it didnt effect us too much but the TV remote needed new batteries as didn't work. The bottled Valser tasted rubbish compared to the tap water. Powedered creamer only available for making a room coffee but they are rubbish normally but that makes it worse. Sorry Basel not a good experience all round. The best thing we saw was the people having a float in the Rhine with thier Wickelfisch
