Holiday Inn Bern - Westside by IHG

Μετά την πρόσφατη διαμονή μου, μπορώ να πω ότι είναι ένα πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο, σε σχετικά κοντινή απόσταση από το κέντρο της Βέρνης, αλλά σε πολύ βολική τοποθεσία, μιας και βρίσκεται ακριβώς δίπλα σε μεγάλο εμπορικό κέντρο με καταστήματα, εστιατόρια και κινηματογράφους. Εύκολη πρόσβαση και πληθώρα θέσεων στάθμευσης. Οι εγκαταστάσεις φαίνονται καινούργιες, εντυπωσιακές και μοντέρνες. Το αξιόλογο προσωπικό με την επαγγελματική εξυπηρέτηση, δίνει πολλά συν στην εμπειρία διαμονής. Τα δωμάτια ευχάριστα, μεγάλα και ευρύχωρα, φωτεινά και με χαρούμενα χρώματα, σου φτιάχνουν τη διάθεση. Επίσγς, είναι πολύ καθαρά και τα έπιπλα πολύ βολικά. Διατείθεται πλούσιο πρωινό με αρκετές επιλογές

Great stay with excellent service. Despite being busy, the staff managed everything efficiently and professionally. Thanks to its excellent location, the hotel attracts many tourists, but we arrived early and left late, so we avoided the rush and had a smooth experience. There’s a convenient parking area, and the breakfast was standard but fresh, with a typical healthy German touch. The hotel is directly across from a tram station and next to a fairly large shopping mall, making it easy to get around and find everything you need. Rooms were the usual Holiday Inn style — comfortable, with a good temperature and a nice view. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Bern. At check in, Martin the front office manager welcomed us with a smile, he was informative and friendly. We got a higher floor room with a decent view. The room itself had everything we needed, large shower, comfortable bed, and most importantly spotless. As an IHG platinum elite member, we got a free access to the spa that is located within walking distance inside the mall. The spa was amazing including all kinds of facilities, but nothing beats the outdoor hot tub. We also had dinner at their resto, the food was prepared beautifully and the server (didn’t catch her name) was very friendly towards us and our baby, she also recommended the best dishes. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and we will definitely come back.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Bern - Westside many times between 2015 and 2020. Lately less due to less travel. But then and again now, it has been the best Holiday Inn hotel I stayed in in Europe. The combination of upgrades, the truly excellent service of the reception and staff, the amazing breakfast with a large variety, the location next to the Westside Mall, free access to Bernaqua for diamond members, easy parking, very clean and hygienic rooms and public parts of the hotel - all contribute to this. I felt like a most valued and appreciated guest - truly exceptional.

Die Mitarbeiter wind sehr freundlich, das Zimmer ist komfortabel mit sehr guten Betten und eine gute Dusche. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet viel Auswahl,und Service ist perfekt. Das Einkaufszentrum bietet schöne Geschäfte und das Schwimm- und Wellnessparadies mit Saunen lädet ein zum verweilen. Gute Anbindung mit Bahn und Auto.

This was our second time staying at the Holiday Inn Bern Westside, and once again it was a fantastic experience. We stayed for two nights this time (previously just one) and found it to be a great base for exploring the area.||The hotel is attached to a large shopping mall, which I was initially unsure about—but it was actually very quiet and convenient. Our room had lovely countryside views, and the public transport links are excellent, with both a train station and tram stop just opposite the hotel. There’s also secure underground parking with direct hotel access (a bit pricey, but very convenient).||Rooms are basic but very clean, beds are comfortable, and everything felt well maintained. One note of caution: the stay included access to the Bernaqua water park, which was great—but we hadn’t realised it was only one entry per stay, not per night. We ended up paying for an additional visit we wouldn’t have planned had that been clearer - please improve on this Holiday Inn! ||Overall, a really reliable, well-located hotel that we’d happily return to again.

I have been an IHG member for over 20 years and realize the best amenity a facility can have is great staff. Bern Westside is a beautiful hotel, clean and well maintained but the standout feature is the staff. Front desk took the time to assist with site seeing suggestions, when something was requested from housekeeping they promptly and politely responded, there was always an attitude of hospitality when staff was encountered even when passing in the hallways. ||||When I return to Bern again, the staff have made this my choice as to where to stay.
