Hôtel de la Cigogne

Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που το επισκέφτομαι. Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο στην καρδιά της Γενεύης. Με τα πόδια μετακινιόμουν παντού, αν και είχα free pass από το ξενοδοχείο σε όλα τα μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς για όλη τη διάρκεια της παραμονής μου! Τα δωμάτια πολύ όμορφα, το κρεββάτι, το στρώμα, τα κλινοσκεπάσματα και τα μαξιλάρια φανταστικά. Μέσα στα δωμάτια αλλά και στους κοινόχρηστους χώρους ιδιαίτερα έργα τέχνης! Πολύ όμορφοι και ζεστοί οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι. Η εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό υποδειγματική! Με το χαμόγελο, προλάβαιναν κάθε επιθυμία μου. Το πρωινό και η αίθουσα πρωινού πολύ όμορφα. Ενα ξενοδοχείο-στολίδι μέσα έξω, κλασσικής ομορφιάς! Σας ευχαριστώ και σας υπόσχομαι πως όποτε ξαναεπισκεφθώ την πόλη σας θα μείνω πάλι στο ξενοδοχείο σας...

Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που επισκέπτομαι το Hotel de la Cigogne. Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο στο πιο κεντρικό σημείο της Γενεύης, υπέροχη φιλοξενία, φανταστικό πρωινό, ζεστά δωμάτια κλασικής ομορφιάς.

Εξαιρετικο και πολυτελεστατο Boutique ξενοδοχειο στο κεντρο της Γενευης πανω στην place Longemalle, απο κατω ειναι και η Rue du Rhone, με τα ωραιοτατα καταστηματα , και σε μικρη αποσταση ο κεντρικος δρομος rue de la Confederation με τα μικρα καφε, εστιατορια καταστημα, και πολυ καταστηματα, τα δωματια ευροχωρα με ωραιο ντεκορ, πολυτελεστατα..... τα μπανια αψογα,,, !! καλο το πρωινο,

This is a true luxury hotel in Old Town, the nicest part of Geneva. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff was great. We got a suite, which is a huge room by European standards. Old Town is a fantastic neighborhood, with great restaurants and great shopping, and the hotel is close to the lake and a short walk to the north side of the Rhone. One warning: this hotel is a bit pricy, and Old Town as a whole is a pretty expensive area. This is probably the most expensive area where I have been in Europe. Expect mid-priced restaurants to be 25% more than Paris or Amsterdam. That said, if you want luxury shopping, there is a lot in this part of Geneva, and it is a beautiful and very walkable area.

Breakfast Time until 10.00 am is really short. What is being declared as junior suite is a langer room. For me personally a junior suite has two rooms. The location is great. Setting outside is difficult even for guests of the hotel, because many non guests are walk ins and there is no differenciation between Hotel guests and not Hotel guests. The rooms are old and have no balconies. Compared with the hotel Longemalle next door, there are in terms of quality of the rooms major differences. Longemalle has also a very nice restaurant. So if I would have the choice Longemalle is the hotel of my choice.

Absolutely awful, outdated room with a tiny tiny full size bed (for a couple) wiht a mattress that was old and so soft I couldn't sleep all night. The fixtures were gaudy and outdated, paint on the wall chipping and dirty, and the toilet room, separate from shower room, was smaller than an airplane toilet. For $600 a night this is a major disgrace. The staff of the hotel was lovely and helpful, but the ownership of this hotel has clearly forgotten about the property and maintaining it. I've travelled the world for both pleasure and work, this is by far the worst 5-star $600 a night hotel I have ever stayed at. I would never return.

Nice hotel but a bit clautrophobic. We were asked for a tip when leaving which was very unpleasant. First time it has ever happened and we travel a lot. The hotel should pay decent salaries instead of asking its guests for extra money.
