Hotel Victoria Basel

I have yet to stay at this property as I am local to the area but my colleagues and I frequent the outdoor terrace often. The staff are friendly, efficient and welcoming. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy an after work drink as you watch the Basel commuters pass by.

Perfect hotel! Lovely greeting upon arrival, lovely room and facilities. Location is incredible, just across the road is the train station and tram stops to both the city and stadium for the football! Also provided us with a complimentary travel pass for our stay which was a lovely added touch. Thank you!

Wir waren als Familie mit kleinen Kindern unterwegs und fanden den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel super! Sehr freundlicher, aber keineswegs aufdringlicher Empfang. 1A Service, unkompliziert und sehr kompetent Geniales Frühstücksbuffet! Perfekte Lage gleich beim Bahnhof. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

One night stay in Basel for the final of the Women’s Euros football.||Location is great being right next to the Railway station but the downside is the noise of the trams which run outside the station. Getting a good night’s sleep was crucial with an early start for a 7am flight but the external noise made this impossible unfortunately.||A spacious room although the lay out was a little strange with the bathroom door immediately adjacent to one of the beds when there was so much empty space. ||Cleanliness and facilities could not be faulted. Would stay here again provided a quieter room was available.

I had a really comfortable stay (June 2025). Very quiet (ask for a room facing away from the main street), clean, and spacious room. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in all the hotels I’ve stayed in. Very convenient location, right across from the central train station, and walking distance to charming old town. Would highly recommend.

Hotel Victoria Basel offers an excellent stay in a convenient location. The breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality foods to choose from. The staff are polite and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. The rooms are impressively well soundproofed you don't hear the nearby trains or trams at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Schon bei unserer Ankunft fühlten wir uns vom Victoria-Team herzlich willkommen geheißen – mit einer warmen, familiären Gastfreundschaft, die perfekt zwischen Komfort und Professionalität ausbalanciert war. Das Hotel selbst ist eine wunderschöne Kombination aus modernem, stilvollem Design und gemütlichen Akzenten, die sofort für Wohlgefühl sorgen.||Das Zimmer war durchdacht gestaltet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet – mit einer beruhigenden Atmosphäre, die das Abschalten leicht machte. Das Bett war außergewöhnlich bequem, bezogen mit hochwertiger Bettwäsche, die sich luxuriös anfühlte, und die Handtücher waren mit Abstand die weichsten und saugfähigsten, die ich je benutzt habe. Jeder Aspekt schien mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgewählt worden zu sein, um das Gästeerlebnis zu perfektionieren.||Was wirklich hervorstach, waren die kleinen, aber bedeutungsvollen Details: ein Frühstück aus frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten, bei dem man die Qualität schmecken konnte, und eine Dusche, die sowohl im Design als auch in der Leistung überzeugte – belebend und erfrischend. Es ist selten, dass man einen Ort findet, an dem jeder Aspekt des Aufenthalts so durchdacht ist.||Dieser kurze Besuch wurde schnell zu einer meiner liebsten Reiseerinnerungen, und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf ein Wiedersehen.
