I came in to treat scars and lesions with laser and microneedling and was told I first had to prepare my skin. For that, I was sold skincare products for over 1,200 CHF (!!). At home, when I researched whether these products would really bring benefits proportionate to the price, I was disappointed. For the same cost, one could do two Morpheus8 sessions — which actually go much deeper and address the root of the problem. This kind of premium, 8-step skincare might suit someone with time and money to waste, but I made it clear I simply wanted to target scars. Preparing the skin for such treatments does not require spending that much. When I asked why this skincare was "necessary," I was only told vague things like ‘trust us’ and ‘we know our stuff’ (or, best yet: 'the problem will never be solved because the problem is YOU') instead of receiving a professional explanation. To me, that is UNACCEPTABLE. A clinic should tailor treatment to the client’s case, explain their reasoning, and show genuine service. Here, it felt like they were only pushing products and a standardized approach — not adapting to me as a client. That’s why I see this more as a selling business than a customer-focused service. a pity and honestly, a waste of my time.
