Lindenhofkeller Restaurant

Nice quality food, but the main course should be bigger comparing to the other starting dishes. The first server who were serving us doesn't care too much and doesn't have any attention to detail. When he was bringing dishes to the table, he didn't even bother to translate them to English he was speaking only German. One time he brought the dishes and he didn't say anything at all. Anyway, the owner (i guess) who was the last server was very nice one and he's a really pro. Very nice attention to detail and overall warm communication. I'm not sure if I will come back, but the quality of the food is nice. The portions could be a little bit bigger. Wines were nice, altho also for a simple chardonay 16-20 per glass is a bit to much. Anyway, thank you for a nice evening and overall all the best for you guys.

Die ersten Bilder stammen vom ersten Besuch im November 2024. Ab dem Bild mit dem Restaurant Eingang vom März 2025 Das essen war beide male sehr gut und sehr schön angerichtet. Die verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen sind sehr gut gelungen. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Auch der Empfangen ist beide male sehr herzlich und sehr nett gewesen. Leider stimmt die Aufmerksamkeit vom Servicepersonal gegenüber dem was man in dieser Preisklasse erwartet nicht wirklich. Wir mussten leider den ganzen Abend den Wein selber nachschenken,was grundsätzlich kein Problem ist, nur hätte ich das hier nicht erwartet...Es wurde lediglich das erste Glas bei beiden Flaschen nach dem probieren eingeschenkt. Beim Wasser leider auch. Das der Espresso vergessen geht, kann, sollte aber nicht passieren.

Ich durfte einen corporate Anlass im Lindenhofkeller bei Alex und Sebastian durchführen. Alles war von A-Z hervorragend. Das Menu war sommerlich gestaltet, köstlich und definitiv nicht von der Stange! Das Team ist stets freundlich und die Stimmung toll. Der schöne Innenhof lädt im Sommer zum verweilen ein. Die Weinauswahl ist stets hervorragend kuratiert! Bis bald auf ein kühles Augustiner !

Eines der besten Restaurants in Zürich. Wir hatten einen fantastischen 4-Gänge Menu! Portionen sind perfekt abgestummen! Service ist aufmerksam und reaktionsschnell. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend. Danke.

We received a warm welcome for our dinner and had a good start with champagne and the first courses of the chef's choice menu. However, we began waiting more than other tables between courses. The main meat courses were good, but not out of this world. Also, the chairs were rather uncomfortable. The drink service was excellent and the cocktails were really cool! The desserts were excellent. The atmosphere was overall very pleasant and it was possible to talk without screaming over music. Overall a good experience.

Every course was better than the last. After spending the week in Zermatt & eating at two Michelin restaurants, we all agreed that Lindenhofkeller was the best place we ate in Switzerland. My husband admitted to the staff at the inception of the meal that he was craving a burger, so they had one delivered! Creative food, delightful staff, interesting wines, and a cozy atmosphere.

The food was really amazing with a lot of local flavors but gourmet The wine list was also pretty good The interior is exceptional The service was really fast but many times uncoordinated. Also the explanation of the dishes wasn’t consistently performed. If both points above are improved it will get a Michelin star soon The were really friendly and welcoming
