Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern

We recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, Lucerne for 3 nights and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and made check-in easy. The room was elegant, had an amazing view, very comfortable with excellent bedding. The location is perfect—right by Lake Lucerne and only a short walk to the Old Town, shops, and restaurants. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh, delicious options served in a lovely setting. I'd like to thank Jennifer, Maximo and all of the restaurant staff (including the morning managers) for their kind and very attentive service. We also had the best sea bream fish dish in awhile.. it was crispy on the outside and had the perfect taste and texture on the inside. Kudos to the chefs. Overall, the Mandarin Oriental Lucerne offers comfort, elegance, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne! We've never had a bad experience at Mandarin Oriental (Geneva, Paris, Guangzhou, Hong Kong), pls keep up the outstanding service and quality!

Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staffs. Great location, walkable to city center and old town. The walk alongside the lake is magnificent. Rooms are spacious and clean. The view overlooking the lake was exceptional. Overall very satisfied with the hotel and highly recommend to others visiting Luzern.

We had an amazing stay at Mandarin Oriental Palace Luzern. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the view across the lake is stunning! THANK YOU to the Front Office, particularly Alina and Johannes, and the Housekeeping team for accommodating our request for kids’ beds. Our children and my parents really enjoyed their stay here. ||Also thank you to the restaurant team at MOzern. Everyone was so attentive, thank you Laura for making us feel so welcome!

I considered a few hotels in the area before picking the Mandarin. I thought about the Park Hotel Vitznau and the burgenstock resort and I’m soooo glad I stayed with the Mandarin. Let me start with the absolute exceptional. Unlike the others this hotel is close to the town that had lively events the whole time we were staying here. The service is unparalleled to anywhere else. Not just the speed by which the employees respond but the manner and smiles and kindness they show the guests. The rooms are new and spacious, the breakfast buffet is complete and they have an exceptional spa and gym. If I have to pick one thing to say is missing is that they don’t have a heated pool but they give you access to an outdoor lake pool that we are going to enjoy today. Don’t think twice. Really fabulous!

Had a great experience here with my wife. Used this as jumping off point to multiple hikes across the area. Hotel was clean and service was professional. Breakfast buffet was solid though you need to be mindful of some tour groups that occasionally go through the area and could pack the line periodically. Walkway outside is great for a stroll if you want. Very quiet hotel for how busy it was. Would 100% return.

Our stay in MO Lucerne was incredible - the property itself is beautiful, updated, and luxurious with incredible views of the lake (we were upgraded to a lake-front suite with a terrace). Service was so personal and attentive, special shoutout to concierge Michael, Tiago, and Alexander - everyone knew our name and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and the fitness center was one of the best I’ve been to. My only regret was not staying here longer - we will certainly be returning.
