At Mesob everything is made with love and served with a smile. Rarely have I found a place that says "welcome home" like this one. The food is delicious and I assume original. Too spicy? Have some homemade cheese to lighten it up. And try the honey wine!
Sehr leckeres Essen und supper nettes und höffliches Personal. Gerichte werden liebevoll gestaltet. Der traditionelle Kaffee ist fantastisch! Aus frisch gerösteten Bohnen zubereitet und mit brennendem Weihrauch serviert.
Amazing food and the staff is really nice! We shared the Mesob plate for five people and really ate your fill. I can‘t say how authentic it is (I‘ve never been to ethiopia ), but it‘s definitely very good food and great service – highly recommandable!
What a restaurant! I just had an amazing meal while in Zurich for a conference, and both the food and the atmosphere were absolutely breathtaking. I’m so glad I made the trip from Geneva — it was well worth it. If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend Mesob Restaurant. The service is fair and welcoming to everyone — Eritrean, Ethiopian, or any other nationality. Highly recommended!
Mein erstes Äthiopisches Essen und es war es absolut wert! Sehr lecker, authentisch (soweit ich es beurteilen kann) und abwechslungsreich. Die Special Platte zu nehmen lohnt sich, so kann man von allem probieren. Sehr empfehlenswert, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Und nicht vergessen, Hände waschen!
We got a takeaway to eat at home and it was DELICIOUS. So much food that my tummy hurt afterwards in the best way. We took the vegi special for two and lovely every single bite. I just wish I could eat this food everyday.
I tried Eritrean food for the first time, and it was good! The flavors were unique and rich, with a perfect blend of spices. The Injera had a soft, tangy taste that paired perfectly with the stews and vegetables. It was an great culinary experience.
