Movenpick Hôtel Bâle

Stayed for 5 nights, for the second time in 12 months|Good points: The view from my room was great, check in and out was quick||Please let me point out to a few points which need improvement|The lift is a nuisance. Often while wanting to get down, the electronic system would not allow me to choose Entrance, this happened several times. I had to press congress, meeting rooms then get out of the lift and choose Entrance. This kind of malfunction should be dealt with asap. Many other guests were rolling their eyes regarding this malfunction. ||Room service. For a hotel of this size the room service menu is very limited and only one dish available for vegetarians: pasta. Pasta is great. However the pasta I ordered was miserable. The sauce was very sour, no fresh tomatoes used I suppose, no salt, no pepper, zero taste at all and the pasta was not al dente but too hard. I was sick in bed for three days and could not keep ordering the same uneatable pasta again and again.||While I was resting, the blinds kept moving up and down on their own. I put the blinds down and a bit later they went up, letting in too much light and heat into the room.|Maybe this should be looked into too. The same thing happened during my last stay.

바젤역에서 가깝고 룸도 넓고 깨끗했어요. 직원분들도 친절하고 아침 일찍 도착해 짐만 맡기고 저녁에 왔는데 캐리어를 룸에 미리 가져다 주셔서 좋았습니다. 통창뷰가 너무 좋아서 시간이 없는데도 뷰 보면서 차한잔 마시고 체크아웃 했습니다. 바젤에 가게 되면 또 가고 싶은 호텔입니다.

This is a nice hotel. Staff friendly, room and bed comfy, shower good, breakfast was great. plenty of selection. Close to main tram terminal and train station, and bus stop for the airport. I would come back and stay again!

The location is centric and not far from the train station Overall, my experience at Movenpick Hotel Basel was exceptional, thanks. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Basel.

Warto, nawet weekend z sympatią lub przyjacielem, bardzo wysoki standard, orientacja na gościa, bez problemu jeśli są dostępne zmienisz pokój na wysokie piętro z widokiem ( przeszklona ściana na 16tym że brakuje oddechu ) lub niskie, taktownie obsluga-*) a ja miałem "okazję " być bardzo grzecznie zapytany co mnie sprowadza na piętro 2? Zagubiony, toalety są bowiem na ... minus 1-) nie obok recepcji. A to dlatego, że piętra 2-5 zarezerwowane były przez Mistrzynie Europy!!! Uwaga: obsługa mówi WE WSZYSTKICH językach europejskich! Tak, po polsku także- owszem, nie każdej zmianie-)

From the moment I arrived at Mövenpick Hotel Basel, I was captivated by its modern elegance and warm hospitality. The hotel's prime location in the heart of Basel made reaching it from train station effortless. The room was a perfect blend of style and functionality—spacious, impeccably clean. The plush bedding ensured a restful sleep, and the thoughtful amenities made my stay even more enjoyable. The service was exceptional throughout my stay. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making my experience unforgettable. Whether it was assistance with recommendations or ensuring every detail was perfect, their dedication was truly commendable.

We have been on the terrace of the restaurant to have dinner and drinks. Menu was not too big, but food quality and presentation was very nice. I did not like the service at all. they had way too many service people. Therefore there was always someone else at the table, not constantly the same person. In addition the restaurant manager (at least I think it was the manager, as he was the only one wearing a suite) did not do anything the whole time, except of looking with another waiter on a mobile phone discussing something. They has so much staff, still we were sitting in front of empty glasses and had to look for someone to order. The team did not have any structure of roles. They were not efficient - a total service mess. Worst service experience - but fantastic cuisine
