Olivo

This was my last meal in my trip to switzerland, and it was the perfect finale for me. I had the full 6-course menu, and I got to taste variety of dishes, from carpaccio, spaghettini, bouillabasse, cheese and et cetera. Great mediterranean flavors. The view over the lucerne lake is also really beautiful.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant im Casino Luzern. Man sitzt sehr schön und die Tische sind mit angenehmen Abstand angeordnet. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir waren mit Freunden hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Weinauswahl ist auch ausgezeichnet. Insgesamt war auch das Essen ausgezeichnet, insbesondere das Rindsfilet. Ich persönlich fand jedoch die Vorspeisen zwar sehr schön angerichtet aber etwas fad im Geschmack - da hätte ich mir die ein oder andere Überraschung gewünscht. Daher 1 Stern weniger. Wir werden definitiv nochmals wiederkommen.

Das Restaurant Olivo in Luzern überzeugt mit gutem Essen und einem hervorragenden Service. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die fairen Weinpreise, die ein angenehmes Genusserlebnis abrunden. Allerdings fallen die Vorspeisen im Vergleich recht teuer aus, während das Menü insgesamt preislich im Rahmen bleibt. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswerter Ort für einen gelungenen Abend.

I set up a reservation for Olivo a few months ago while we were planning our trip from the US. As we were preparing to walk to the restaurant tonight, I was reviewing some of the pictures others had submitted with their reviews and knew we were in for something very special. She got the 4 course summer menu while I elected to get the 5 course. The only thing surpassing the presentation was the flavor of every delicious bite. We’ve shared some very memorable meals over the years and this one will definitely be added to that list. The service was excellent from the very moment we checked in. If all that wasn’t enough, enjoying a world class meal with a view to match took it all over the top. If you have something special to celebrate, I couldn’t recommend Olivo any stronger.

We had an incredible experience here at Olivo. All 8 in our party opted for the tasting menu, and it did not disappoint. Every course was amazing and SO beautifully presented! Two in our group are gluten free and one has a shellfish allergy, and they were able to accommodate them with some slight tweaks to the dishes. The service was also incredible, I highly recommend it.

This is an incredible restaurant with absolutely delicious food. I did the 6 course menu and everything was absolutely stunning as was the service and atmosphere. You could have told me it was a 2-star Michelin and I would have believed it!

Es war kurz und bündig ein absolut suuper Abend. Sehr nettes Personal wo sich immer bemühte dass es an nichts fehlte. Das Ambiente war Top. Das Chateaubriand war wunderbar Zart und perfekt medium. Der Salat war sehr gut und nicht etwa zu wenig was man normal von einem Gourmettempel erwarten könnte. Das Dessert war für 18.50 etwas zu wenig. Die einzigen 2 Punkte die man bemängeln kann sind die zu kalten Teller beim ersten Gang. Beim 2ten waren sie richtig warm. Das wichtigste am Chateaubriand ist nunmal ein heisser Teller. Und das 2 war die Teils Unkenntnisse im Bereich Wein und Dessert der netten Dame. Ich komme sicher wieder einmal.
