Restaurant Calanda

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Restaurant Calanda! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming — the perfect setting for a great meal. The food was truly outstanding — each dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and top-quality ingredients. A special mention goes to Tina, who took such wonderful care of us. Her service was warm, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. She made us feel truly welcome and added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. The overall vibe of the place was lively and full of energy, which made our time there even more enjoyable. We left with full hearts and happy stomachs. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Food was tasty, and generous portions. The staff were very responsive and friendly. Especially waiter Karl, he was patient and detailed in his recommendations and we came back for dinner.

Bel locale accogliente con anche un’area esterna dove mangiare o fare aperitivo. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Ho provato un piatto di pasta "specialità dello chef" che mi è sembrato fin troppo semplice visto il nome (e visto il costo di 19 franchi). Un sugo di pomodoro leggermente piccante senza niente di particolare. Comunque buona. Se tornassi, sicuramente sceglierei altri piatti.

Einfach Hingehen, mehr braucht man fast nicht zu sagen. Tolle Mitarbeiter und eine tolle Karte für ein feines Apéro. Man kann mit dem QR Code auf dem Tisch oder bei den Mitarbeitern bestellen und bezahlen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

I've struggled a bit to find good vegan options in Chur, there seem to be very few places, especially for dinner, and especially if you want a traditional Swiss meal. I've also struggled to make sure I could get enough protein without having flex into a vegetarian diet and include eggs or cheese. Needless to say, when I found that Calanda offered a salad with vegan chicken, I was so relieved and excited. I'm very passionate about salads. It was also pretty big, and came in a huge glass bowl. The salad base itself was varied, with lots of different kinds of lettuce and greenery (I can't stand salads that are just iceberg lettuce). It also had shredded/grated veg and seeds, so lots of textures and flavours which I appreciate in a salad. I also asked for the dressing on the side which came in a cute little gravy boat jug. They were extremely accommodating. They also provide multiple options for dressings. We also got a pretzel on the side, which was warm and beautifully fluffy. My partner got the Malun(?), which can be made vegetarian, or include bacon. This was also delicious and was served with nice big chunks of cheese. The serving staff were all lovely. I would recommend for other vegan/vegetarian travellers.

Sehr nettes, Jung und frisch gebliebenes Lokal. Witzig eingerichtet. Wenn man auf das Essen wartet kann man Hühner Bilder studieren oder sich von der Inneneinrichtung inspirieren lassen. Die Bedienung war nett freundlich und bemüht. Der Salat ist in einer etwas sehr kleinen Schüssel serviert worden und vermutlich etwas getränkt von Salat Sauce. Aber insgesamt gut. Das untere Code war bleu bestellt und kam etwas zu durch an. Grosse Portionen. Alles in allem ein erfreuliches und durchaus empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Wenn man mit Freunden oder Kollegen in einem lockeren Ambiente, sich Chicken Wings, Fleisch, Fritten, Burger in allen Variationen genehmigen will.
