Restaurant Marktküche

We had an amazing experience at Marktküche. We took the 8-plate menu with a pairing of wine and non-alcoholic beverages - all of which were delicious. I was amazed by the variety of taste that can be achieved with vegan only food. The waiter were also very welcoming and friendly throughout the 4hours that we ended up staying here 🙂 only downside would be the not so nice neighbourhood if you are on the terrasse, but of course nothing that the team can do about so overall I can only highly recommend the place and hope to be back on day!

I had the pleasure of dining at this fully vegan restaurant in Zurich, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. I opted for the 7-course tasting menu and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the meticulous attention to detail. Each course was paired with a different type of wine, beautifully presented at the beginning of each dish. This thoughtful pairing elevated the dining experience to a whole new level. The waiter was incredibly friendly and professional, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed yet refined dining experience. As someone who was initially skeptical about fully vegetarian dishes, I was pleasantly surprised. The roasted brioche and homemade pasta were particular highlights, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. This was my first experience with a fully vegan menu, and it exceeded all my expectations. I can confidently say that I will return at the first opportunity. If you’re in Zurich and looking for a top-notch vegan dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit.

הייתה לנו חוויה יוצאת דופן במסעדת המישלן הזו. פעם ראשונה שאנחנו הולכים למישלן ולא ידענו למה לצפות המסעדה הייתה כמעט ריקה שהגענו ב18 אבל תוך שעה המסעדה הייתה מלאה עד אפס מקום מה שהשפיע על מהירות השירות שקיבלנו לקראת הסוף. הארוחה הייתה מדהימה וערכה 3 וחצי שעות הייתי שמחה טיפה לקצר את הזמנים אבל האוכל מושלם אין על התלבטנו מאוד בין להזמין ארוחת 6 עם שתייה מנות או ארוחת 8 מנות ללא שתייה והמלצרית המקסימה הציעה לנו לקחת 8 מנות ורק שתייה אחת ולהתחלק שהיה רעיון מדהים עבורנו ככה לא פספסנו דבר.

Exquisite Kompositionen für Auge, Mund und Seele - lokal, saisonal und mit Wildkräutern geschmückt. Jeder Gang eine neue Geschmacksexplosion. Dazu eine freundliche und aufgestellte Bedienung, einfach wunderbar. Und glutenfrei ist übrigens auch möglich!

Wir hatten das 5 Gänge Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Jeder Gang war ein Kunstwerk, und überraschte. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Maronisuppe mit Birbeneiscreme. Ich koche selber gerne auch Vegan und habe mir viele Anregungen geholt. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Tipp: Die Küche benötigt etwas Vorlauf, bestellt einen Aperitif wenn ihr ankommt.

Mein Freund und ich sind uns einig: Wir haben in unserem ganzen Leben noch nie so gut gegessen wie in der Marktküche. Wir waren vor etwa einem halben Jahr dort und wir schwärmen bis heute davon. Habe eben wieder reserviert und kann es kaum erwarten - absolutes Highlight.
