Tamarind Hill

After a long tip in Europe, we were craving for Indian food. We decided to come here only due to positive reviews. Our decision proved to be correct. To start with we had a Chardonnay wine with Onion & Potato Fritters. In main course we had Veg Biryani and Dal Tadka. The food was very tasty and authentic. The restaurant had both indoor and outdoor sittings. Most of the guests preferred to sit outdoor since weather was very pleasant and surrounding very quiet. The décor was very good. We liked the ethnic Indian dress of stewardess. It looked classy. The service was very efficient and polite. No doubt it looked fine dining Indian restaurant !!

My fiancé and I are traveling from the states and were craving Indian food. This place hit the mark! The food was amazing and the service was unbelievable - I felt like I was at home. To the two gentlemen hosting and serving our tables - thank you for making a place so foreign feel so familiar ❤️

Wir waren mit unserer Familie zum Mittagessen im Restaurant und rundum begeistert! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – frisch, geschmackvoll und schön angerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Service: Die Kellner waren äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und haben uns während des gesamten Besuchs hervorragend betreut. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und einladend, wir haben uns wirklich wohlgefühlt. Insgesamt hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

It added a whole new level of appreciation to the meal. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the service was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to experience such high-level service in a busy setting, but the team at Tamarind Hill managed it effortlessly. If you're looking for an authentic Indian dining experience with incredible food and outstanding hospitality, Tamarind Hill is an absolute must-visit!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient. super empfehlung. Preis/Leistung ist super. Essen war sehr gut! Für uns bisschen viele Lichter und Musik war zulaut.

Amazing food and service. The staff was very very friendly and provided a great dining experience. The food was yummy. Because of the experience, we went there twice for dinner and also got a take away. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Zurich.
