Spitzenklasse Nach einem wunderschönen Urlaub mit meinem Mann in Südtirol, ging’s zum Ausklang ins zwei besternte Widder in Zürich. Erwartungen waren sehr hoch und sie wurden auch komplett erfüllt. Ich habe selten so hochwertige und gut gesessen, während der Service so angenehm und freundlich war. Jeder Gang war ein Genuss. Sehr Empfehlenswert!

Magnifique menu dégustation en 6 plats : c’était beau, plein de saveurs diverses et variées, du peps à chaque bouchée. Vraiment un haut niveau de cuisine justifiant très largement les 2 étoiles. Le cadre est toutefois assez triste et austère avec des boiseries très sombres, peut-être un frein pour l’obtention d’une troisième étoile ? Le service est également très agréable et sympathique. Le chef vient apporter le premier plat. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Seit 2015 (zuerst im Ecco Atlantis, jetzt hier im Widder) lieben wir die Kochkunst von Stefan Heilemann: die Kombination aus klassisch französisch mit asiatischen Einflüssen ist einfach super. Jedes Mal ein Genuss!

A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Widder We had the pleasure of celebrating my girl’s birthday at Widder restaurant tonight, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Service was impeccable, with Chef Stefan Heilemann personally greeting us both at the start and end of the meal—a personal touch that elevated the entire evening. The food was absolutely amazing. Each course was a vibrant visual masterpiece—thoughtfully composed and presented. As someone who enjoys tartness in my dishes, I was thrilled by the chef’s proclivity for acidity that blends perfectly with other rich flavors. I also appreciated the delightful and unexpected aromas and flavors that was inspired by dishes from Thai cuisine. At the end of the evening, they surprised my girl with a rich, decadent chocolate cake, making an already special night even more memorable. The entire evening was an exquisite dining experience, from the first bite to the last. My highest compliments to Chef Stefan Heilemann and his talented team for creating such an unforgettable celebration.

The best meal in Switzerland. One of the best meals we have ever had after going to more than 100 Michelin star restaurants. Seasonal not pretentious and well balanced. Also like the shape, decor and openness of the room.

An exceptional culinary experience. Located on the second floor in a warm setting of the hotel. From the food presentation to the wine recommendations- everything was perfect. This restaurant well deserves its two stars. Don’t forget to have a cocktail at the bar on the first floor before arriving.

The food was excellent. 5/5 stars for most people I think. Michelin star? Meh, I have less and less confidence in Michelin stars. They are very regional, and a place that would get Michelin stars in Europe would probably not get a Michelin star if placed in Oklahoma. Would probably be low 1 star Michelin in most US cities. Great flavor and texture across all dishes. Service was good but not excellent. Atmosphere very unremarkable; ‘hotel chic"? Not a good value for money proposition. Expect about $350 per person and I would quantify the total experience closer to $160 per person for combo of food, service, and atmosphere. Many better options in Zurich; don’t let the 2 Michelin star rating be your deciding factor!
