Zafferano

In occasione di una pausa pranzo, in un torrido sabato di fine giugno, ho potuto sostare in questo delizioso ristorante, in posizione super centrale. Il personale, gentilissimo, ci ha consigliato delle insalate di verdure e capresi freschissime, dal sapore ottimo, e soprattutto una deliziosa e rigenerante crema di caffè. I prezzi sono commisurati alla qualità ed alla posizione super centrale a Zurigo. Consigliatissimo!

Our first visit to Zurich and we did our homework by scanning thru the review of this restaurant before proceed to make a reservations for dinner on a Friday. Facing the Limmat River and Fraumunster church enhance the historical ambience. While restaurant internal decor was tastefully done with oil paintings featuring the Rosenhof’s past decades. We ordered burrata cheese tomato, King Prawn Risotto, Beef Steak. The tomato features were quite colorful, fresh & sweet (yes it was sweet). I must said the Seafood Risotto was done in a very high Al Dante standard plus generous Parmesan cheese topping and the King Prawn were grilled to slightly charred, really brought up the fragrance. Coming to Beef steak, it was strongly recommended by staff Matthew, and the medium cut steak blend nicely with the sautéed vegetables (mix of Egg plant, lettuce, onion, olive in tomato paste as base), the Australian beef steak in sea salt taste extremely juicy even by itself, good recommendations. The manager Paulo was really polite & courteous and really pay attention to finest service details. This was an excellent dinner. Love the service & food quality. Thanks Paulo & Matthew !

V friendly staff, they pay attention on you. 5 star service. Food is delicious too. They explain you the manu in English. It is also a dog friendly place. Server Omar was so nice to us always with a smile.

Stumbled upon this place. Food and service were great! Highlights were the insalata di bufala and the tiramisu (not pictured). Skip the glass of merlot and go for the cab.

A Truly Memorable Dining Experience! We had dinner here last night with my team and it was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the warm and attentive service, especially from Omar, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, making it the perfect spot for a memorable night out. I will definitely be coming back - highly recommended!

Es war ein milder Herbstabend in Zürich, als ich mich entschied, das Restaurant Zafferano zu besuchen. Der Duft der Limmat lag in der Luft und die Stadt machte sich bereit, die letzten Sonnenstrahlen des Tages willkommen zu heißen. Hinter dem Rathaus, in einer ruhigen Ecke, fand ich das schmucke Restaurant, das sich harmonisch in die malerische Umgebung einfügte. Beim Betreten des Zafferano wurde ich sofort von der charmanten Chef de Service empfangen, die mich mit einem freundlichen Lächeln an meinem Tisch platzierte. Die Atmosphäre war einladend und der Gastraum erstrahlte in hellem Licht, das die liebevoll eingerichteten Tische zum Glänzen brachte. Hier spürte ich sofort die Sorgfalt und Hingabe, mit der dieses Restaurant geführt wird. Ein offener Küchenbereich bot mir einen beruhigenden Einblick in die kreative Arbeit der Köche, was mein Vertrauen in die Qualität der Speisen nur weiter stärkte. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte war beeindruckend – sie reichte von traditionellen Gerichten bis hin zu modernen Kreationen und war für jeden Geldbeutel bestens ausgestattet. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass hier jeder etwas finden würde, das seinen Gaumen erfreuen könnte. Das Personal war nicht nur kompetent, sondern auch unglaublich freundlich und humorvoll. Sie schafften es, eine ungezwungene Stimmung zu verbreiten, die den Abend noch angenehmer machte. Mein Essen ließ nicht lange auf sich warten und als es serviert wurde, war ich sofort begeistert. Der Geschmack war einfach himmlisch – jede Zutat schien perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und die Präsentation war ein wahrer Augenschmaus. Aber nicht nur das Essen war ein Hochgenuss; auch die kleinen Details waren durchdacht, denn selbst die WCs waren sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, was in vielen Restaurants oft vernachlässigt wird. Die Zeit verging wie im Flug und als ich schließlich das Zafferano verließ, hatte ich nicht nur köstliche Speisen genossen, sondern auch ein unvergessliches Erlebnis gehabt. Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen, für jeden, der die Kulinarik in Zürich erkunden möchte – es ist ein Ort, der das Herz und den Gaumen gleichermaßen erfreut
