Beach House Delfin

Cool vibe and decoration. Its clean and the service is great. The food however was a big disappointment. The fries are low quality freezer fries. Same with the chicken nuggest which are not even McDonalds quality they are so bad. The pasta with tomato sauce was bland, watery and overcooked. I will say the salad looked decent but I didnt try it. Then also had a (probably froze /reheated) donut which was disgusting. Sorry to leave a review like this as I said , the people there are great.

Wir waren im Hallenbad und wollten schnell etwas essen. Das neu renovierte Restaurant sieht schön aus. Das Angebot sieht gut aus aber wir waren fast 15 Minuten am warten bis wir etwas bestellen konnten. Es war nur 1 Person hinter der Theke und die Schlange wurde immer länger. Sie machen es zwar mit hingabe aber das Konzept ist für eine Badibeiz nicht das optimale. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir haben ca. 60.- CHF für Chicken Wings und Pizza und Getränk bezahlt. Meiner Meinung nach zu teurer. Es sollte ein günstiges Menue für Kinder wie früher haben. Wir waren etwas enttäuscht wir kommen aber im Sommer sicher wieder und schauen ob sich etwas geändert hat.

Küchenpersonal praktisch alle amateurhaft, extrem lange Wartezeiten, über jeden Handgriff muss nachgedacht werden, keine organisierten Abläufe, zwischendurch wird durch die Luft geschaut, statt die nächsten Nuggets mit Pommes rauszugeben, obwohl das Essen in der Auslage parat liegt. Waren gestern, Sa in der Badi und mussten quasi von 5 Stunden Aufenthalt eine knappe Stunde mit Anstehen und aufs Essen warten verschwenden. Wir werden bis auf Weiteres dort nicht mehr essen und unser Essen lieber mitbringen.

Sehr lange Wartezeiten, es gibt nicht wirklich ein System in der Küche, auch nur für Chicken Nuggets / Pommes. Geschmack des Essens lässt zu wünschen übrig, sehr teuer.

I come to the swimming pool once a week, and after my swimming lesson I always eat here. Not a single time was I disappointed. Every week the menu changes and you can always find not only typical Swiss food, but vegetarian options as well as international food. And they nail it, every single time. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed (I never eat at rush hour, though). You sometimes have to wait a little bit longer than you can expected, but since the food is so good and I am never in a rush, I don’t mind it. Prices are average and totally what you can expect for Switzerland. In fact, I think quality is above average for the price tag. I totally recommend it, even if you don’t go swimming.

As a regular swimmer I enjoy having lunch a few times a week at the restaurant. The kitchen staff prepares lovely food: whether you feel like having Italian pasta, Asian/Vegetarian food, a Swiss speciality, or some traditional "Badi"-food, they've got you covered. The salad buffet is varied, offering a diverse choice in salads that you can combine to your liking. All is served in an agreeable environment by the friendly crew of the Beach House. And for the cappuccino lovers like me, who love a mountain of milk foam on their coffee, this is the right place to go to :). Enjoy!
