Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern

This is an excellent hotel in a perfect location right in the heart of Lucerne. The room was spacious and well-appointed with a really comfortable bed that gave us some of the best sleep of our trip. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, from the furnishings to the bathroom facilities. The location couldn't be better - you're walking distance to all the main sights, the lake, and great restaurants. The breakfast was genuinely impressive with high-quality ingredients, good variety, and attentive service. Staff throughout the property were professional, friendly, and helpful with recommendations and requests. The whole experience felt like what you'd want from a quality Swiss hotel - efficient, comfortable, and welcoming without being stuffy. The attention to detail was evident in everything from the room setup to the common areas. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel. Everything was amazing. We had comfortable sleep, great breakfast and easy access to transportation. The breakfast was very good and the service was exceptional. We were sad to leave. The front desk was so helpful in making our stay easy with a toddler too. Sent us off with waters and snacks. Thanks for a great stay. Can’t wait to go back.

This hotel is beautiful and located right across from Lake Luzern. The rooms are large and well appointed. The service is five stars all the way. The breakfast has a great selection of items. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Each room has its own personal touches. The bathroom in the lobby must be visited.

Gorgeous hotel in a great location! This is a luxury hotel with exceptional customer service. The price is steep but it was such a special place to stay. Everyone was so welcome and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful. Our room was clean and spacious and beautiful. Everything was within walking distance, including train station. This is a great place to stay in Lucerne!

The location is great. Close enough to go explore all around the town. The staff are super friendly and helped us plan our days itinerary on the boat and train, dinner reservations, renting a car and mapping out what to see. Made us a to go breakfast on the way out to our 5:45am train. Anything you need. Very helpful and not annoyed by all our questions.

While the inside of the hotel lobby is nice the single rooms are VERY small and do not have that 5 star (which the hotel is) feeling. My room was not made up in the day and they only give you one towel and one wash cloth, so I didn't have anything new to use after. I asked the front desk for water and they said they do not give it, it is a charge to the room...a 5 star hotel does not give WATER??? When you are paying this much money and staying at a 5 star you expect 5 star service. You get water at 3 star hotels, so this is crazy to me. I also had to call down multiple times just to get towels and when I was at the restaurant, I ordered tap water and they charge me 2 CHF for that (crazy). While the staff is nice I am just not sure I would rate the hotel 5 stars, it is a 4 star hotel (still very nice) and in a great location.

Had a wonderful stay there whilst the BTTF Car was displayed outs the hotel for the Back to the Future Live in Concert in 2015 with Alan Silvestri. Made me feel like a celebrity. Would highly recommend this place if you need to stay in the area
