Trattoria Antichi Sapori GmbH

Wir waren heute zu sechst bei der Trattoria Antichi Sapori in Basel und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Das Essen war wirklich lecker – die Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet und authentisch italienisch im Geschmack. Die Portionen waren normal bemessen, ohne dass es zu viel war. Das Ambiente ist zwar nicht besonders gross oder prunkvoll, aber dafür sehr gemütlich und niedlich, was den Charme des Lokals ausmacht. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Discovered this hidden gem by accident on a chilly Friday evening. Not a typical Italian restaurant for sure. Ordered their deer tartar out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh taste. My favorite was the braised veal cheek with mashed potato & mushrooms. Loved every bite and the rich savory flavor made me want to lick the plate It on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. I say check it out.

Waren zum 1. Mal dort und waren sehr zufrieden! Tolles Essen guter Service! Natürlich nicht günstig aber Schweiz halt Würde aber auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Meal: as mentioned in another review, some dishes were unflavored, such as the lamb ravioli and pork belly. The polenta amuse bouche was tasty, as well as the truffle flan and carpaccio. Overall, small portions and too expensive for such dinner. Service: good, the host was very nice. Atmosphere: very pleasant and warm, with white tablecloth and tea candle, although seeing part of the kitchen didn’t suit what the restaurant want to project.

Delicious authentic Italian food . Very friendly staff . As a starter we had sformatino di porro (Lauch Flan) as main course we shared parmigiana alla napoletana and as dessert we shared Tiramisu . Everything was flavorful . We had a beautiful dining experience in Basel.

The best was the attention from the Italian host. Ver kind. The food was a little under flavored, with some highlights but as a whole not very impressive. Some serious salt and pepper absence in a couple of dishes. The best, which were really really good, were the truffle pie as a starter and the pasta with Gorgonzola. The meat was ok, the rest of the starters pretty forgettable.

This is our favourite Italian restaurant, Ivan and Genny are the nicest people and we love the food and the selection of wines. I'm happy and I feel at home when I rediscover here dishes my grandmother used to prepare. Even during lockdown we were lucky to enjoy the deliciousness delivered to our mailbox. I could honestly not ask for more <3
